When will you arrive to clean?

Home Chore Solutions clean during the day (Mon-Sun) from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (except on Public Holidays). Each home or property is assigned a time during the day for cleaning. Though there are days and times where we can't accommodate due to being fully booked or falls on a public holiday, we will do our very best to stick as closely to those preferred days and start times as possible.

However, the arrival time may vary slightly due to things such as traffic, or if we find we need to spend a little longer at other homes or properties to handle a special request.

If you require a definite starting time for us, we would be more than happy to talk about possible solutions such as making your scheduled cleaning the first appointment of the day or whichever is suitable and convenient.

What if I need to reschedule or skip my end of lease or vacate cleaning?

Again, no problem! We realize that life gets busy and sometimes things happen requiring you to move things around. We ask that you please let us know at least 48 hrs in advance or a cancellation charges fee will apply.

What about holidays?

We are closed on public holidays.

What is a Man-Hour and how does it work?

A Man-Hour is the amount of time for your cleaning/booking that can be done by one person. For example: If you book 2 Man Hours Cleaning for ($82.00) and one cleaner is assigned to your booking, it will take 2 Hours for that cleaner to complete the job. Whereas if 2 cleaners are assigned to do the same job (2 Man Hours Cleaning), it is still a 2 Man-Hours job (2 cleaners X 1hr each = same price of $82.00) but the actual time is 1 Hour. NOTE: the duration may vary due to the amount of mess, clutter at time of cleaning.

When is payment due? How should I pay?

Payment is due on your scheduled cleaning day. A tax invoice is provided for each and every service we perform. We only accept payments via internet banking or via invoice. (Please note: a late payment fee of $22 Inc GST will apply when an invoice is 9 days overdue and $22 Inc GST every 18 days thereafter. If you have difficulties in paying your invoice please don't hesitate to contact us so we can make other payment alternatives.

Is there a cancellation fee if I wish to cancel my booking or cleaning service?

Should you wish to cancel / postpone your cleaning service you need to inform us 48hrs prior to your scheduled cleaning date. A cancellation charges fee of $44.00 Inc GST will apply accordingly.

How does Home Chore Solutions make sure things go right?

Who provides the cleaning products and equipment?

We bring everything we need to professionally clean your property including necessary products, supplies and equipment. In this way, we can make sure we have everything we need to perform the job properly. Our cleaning products are chemical free / biodegradable or environmentally friendly and are safe for everyone including kids and animals.

Are you insured? What if something gets broken?

While we are trained on proper cleaning procedures and pride ourselves in being careful, if anything were to get broken as the result of something we did while cleaning - we want to step up to make it right! That means trying to as quickly as possible to either repair or replace it - and because we are insured, we would file a claim whenever necessary to help resolve the situation.

If you would like, we would be glad to send you a proof showing our insurance is complete and up-to-date (Public Liability Insurance). Home Chore Solutions will furnish all forms of insurance required by law and shall maintain the same in force.
